Psychiatric Evaluation & Medication Management
A psychiatric diagnostic appointment is 45 minutes long. During this appointment we will explore current life stressors, current symptoms of mental illness, past psychiatric treatment, and family of origin issues. At the conclusion of the appointment we will formulate a diagnosis and treatment plan.
A medication management appointment is a 20 minute follow-up appointment that includes treatment with psychiatric medication and medical decision making.
GeneSight (TM) testing is also available to help with medication management decisions if elected.
